What are the defects?

The product is not supplied with a mandatory tether strap and does not meet mandatory warning label requirements of the mandatory standard ‘Trade Practices Act 1974 – Consumer Protection Notice No. 8 of 2007 – Consumer Product Safety Standard: Prams and Strollers’.

What are the hazards?

If the product does not have the required safety features and warning labeling, they may not be used correctly, posing a risk of injury to the child.

What should consumers do?

Consumers are asked to return the SmarTrike Smartfold 700 to a Toys “R” Us or Babies “R” Us store for a full refund.
